What to Expect this Sunday at New Hope

Due to the increase in positive COVID-19 cases in the Metro/Davidson County area, Mayor Cooper announced that we are returning to a Phase 2 with modifications. What this means is, there should be no gatherings in excess of 25 people.
Therefore, effective immediately, the 10:30 am Sunday morning service at New Hope will return to live streaming only beginning this Sunday, July 5th until further notice. Please make plans to join Pastor Sid and the Praise Team at 10:30am this Sunday via YouTube Live or Facebook Live.

Calling All Prayer Warriors

Dear church family,
On Sunday, July 12, I am bringing a message on prayer and I am convinced your response to this message will have an immediate and long-term impact on the future ministry of our church.
How important is prayer? Corrie Ten Boom answered that question this way:
When a Christian shuns fellowship with other Christians, the devil smiles. When he stops reading the Bible, the devil laughs. When he stops praying, the devil shouts for joy.
If New Hope Baptist church is going to the next level, we will only get there through prayer. We won’t get there by preaching, programs, or publicity alone. Prayer is the key. It is not simply one of the keys. It is THE key!
Acts 2:42 shows that the early disciples “devoted themselves to prayer.” And as a result, God gave them unity, miracles. and hundreds of people coming to Christ. All things are possible when a church prays. For this reason, I am asking you to become a PRAYER WARRIOR for your church. NHBC Prayer Warriors commit to pray for our church for one hour (or part of an hour) every week. To be a successful Prayer Warrior, you will need two things:
1. A Plan: Choose a day and hour of the week when you will pray for your church.
2. A Partner: Having a prayer partner keeps us encouraged and accountable.
I am excited about what God will do in response to the prayers of His people, and I am counting on you to register to be one of the fifty (50) NHBC Prayer Warriors.
I love you, Church!
For Christ,
Pastor Sid Woodruff
