Jerusalem (Local)

Serving our community is core to who we are. We provide The Hope Pantry for our members and neighbors. We gladly serve in local apartment complexes in our community and continue to build bridges into people’s lives. We constantly give of ourselves and our resources in order to make a difference. We are always mindful of the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:40,

“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”

Community Block Party

Thank you to the community at The Reserve of Stone Hall for letting us host the block party this past October and a HUGE thank you to every one of our volunteers. We handed out over 350 hotdogs, countless bags of candy, and provided the community for a safe place to rest and play.

The Waverly Flood | 2021

The town of Waverly, TN was devastated by flash flooding in August of 2021. It immediately was put on the hearts of our deacons to come to the aid of the people of Waverly. They worked together with the church as well as local homeschool co-op, Heritage Christian Academy. New Hope was able to bless and care for people by donating bottled water, box fans, and non-perishables.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

The Week of Prayer for North American missions is annually observed by SBC churches to pray for missionaries, their ministries, and their families. Prayer is the fuel for spiritually sustaining missionaries in places where the gospel is greatly needed, but often opposed.
The official dates for this year’s Week of Prayer are March 6-13.

Operation Christmas Child

Each year close to Christmas, New Hope sends the Good News to children who have never heard the name of Jesus! A shoebox gift is a tangible expression of God’s love and care.
