Awana

Awana Clubs meet Wednesday Nights from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm.

Awana is a nondenominational ministry that assists churches in reaching children with the gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him.

Each Awana age group ministry is broken into three general areas: Game Time, Handbook Time & Large Group Time. Children are encouraged to memorize scripture and are taught about Jesus and how to live a Christian life.
Clubbers are rewarded for their work in memorizing scripture by badges and awards. To make Awana crazy fun, teams and children are awarded points and given Awana bucks which can be spent at the Awana Store that opens twice a year.

Our message to families is simple: We're here to serve you with a ministry that is all about fun with a purpose —to win and grow kids for Christ! As a vital part of our church ministry, Awana clubs and programs effectively reach young people with the good news of Jesus Christ. At New Hope, our Awana ministry works with other ministries to give our children a well-balanced emphasis on knowing Jesus and how we can live for Him and serve Him.

The halls of DCA Elementary school lined up with hundreds of gently used shoes being donated to the
